For the first time held over two days, the Legal IT conference took off on April 21st, 2009, with a keynote presentation by Professor Ronald Deibert and, on day 2, by Mr. Christophe Reverd.

The program included:

A symposium on Cyberjustice prepared by the Centre de recherche en droit public (CRDP) of the Université de Montréal;

Sedona-style sessions on E-Discovery with judges, lawyers and technologists offered by the Sedona Conference research group;

Special panels presented by the Law Practice Management and Technology Section of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) as well as its Intellectual Property, Information and Telecommunication Section;

Free advanced training sessions and demos of new products and services as part of the Technology Showcase track.
