New Economy

Me Janie C. Beïque was appointed Senior Vice-President, New Economy in May 2008. She joined the Solidarity Fund QFL in January 2000 as Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary, responsible for legal and regulatory issues as well as many government matters. She also served on the Management Committee of the Fund. Me Beïque is a member of the Investment Management Committee of the Québec Solidarity Fund as well as other committees. Me Beïque is Co-President and a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of Réseau Capital. She also serves on the Board of Directors of BioQuébec, Montréal In Vivo and the Canadian Venture Capital Association (CVCA). In 2005, she was chosen by Lexpert Magazine as one of Canada’s 40 leading corporate counsel under 40. Furthermore, she is invited to deliver speeches at a number of conferences.
