Larry Bryenton is currently Acting Assistant Deputy Commissioner with the Fair Business Practices Branch of the Competition Bureau. He has been with the Bureau for 24 years, having worked in the Mergers, Criminal, and Civil Matters areas of the Bureau prior to his current role in dealing with misleading and deceptive advertising matters under the Competition Act. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics. He has recently returned to the Bureau following a year assignment working with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in Melbourne, Australia.
