Educated at the University of Ottawa, B.A. Social Sciences 1983, LL.L. 1986.  Called to the Bar of Quebec in 1988.  Legal Counsel, Legal Services, Supreme Court of Canada in December 1988.  Senior Legal Counsel assigned as Acting Director, Registry Branch in 2000.  Appointed Director, Registry Branch in September 2003. Responsibilities include the management of the operations of the Registry Branch which includes the processing, recording and conservation of material filed in support of cases to be heard by the Supreme Court of Canada and the provision of information, guidance and assistance on Court practices and procedures and information on proceedings.  Ms. Loreti was a key member of the Supreme Court of Canada Court Modernization Committee which was responsible for the implementation of computers and electronic documents into the Supreme Court of Canada courtroom.
