
Tracey P. Lauriault
Tracey P. Lauriault is currently a Research Associate with Acacia Consulting and Research and a Researcher at the Geomatics and Cartographic Research Centre at Carleton University. She is also working on her PhD Dissertation on Access to Public Data in Canada. She is one of the founding members of CivicAccess.ca, ogWiFi.ca and co-authors datalibre.ca with Hugh McGuire.
She is greatly interested in access to public data and their related infrastructures at all levels of government, using public data to inform public policy and the preservation of scientific data. She is also particularly fond of maps and information visualizations. She is often invited to speak about these topics in a variety of fora and loves doing so.
